Depends how you see it. Bolasie was a very good player who was finding his feet here. A lot of his game is on physical athleticism. Now he doesn't have the flexibility to manoeuvre himself to compliment that style and restricted flexibly so his game is effectively ruined.

Iwobi is average - let's face facts. He has a lit to prove and a couple of games of ok performances doesn't go far yet.

I would say Iwobi has had a string of very good performances and has shown notable improvement under Carlo, but whatever fits your narrative

To be honest, I like Yanick Bolasie and was hoping Carlo Ancelotti would give him more of a chance to prove himself. But obviously, the manager didn't like what he was seeing, or something, and that was that. Every time I see his name now though, I always think of that open goal he missed in the friendly game :D

He didn’t have potential, he was 27 and had played no higher than in the bottom half of the Premier League. We bought a bottom half Premier League/top half Championship standard player for £28m. At least with Iwobi he was young enough to be able to say he might improve.

I can say with confidence that Iwobi will amount to a better footballer than Bolasie at his peak. He has always been terrible.

The only faults in your reasoning are 1/ He really isn't playing that good ,he passes three times more badly than successfully 2/ He too might get a similar injury not that I wish that at all .
 









Absolute helmet he is. I'm sure he came back from that injury to help the team out of the goodness of his heart and love for the club, not because he's on £70-£80,000 per week or whatever to be a member of the playing staff. His lack of social awareness is astounding, get him gone because he's embarrassing himself and the club with his utter nonsense.

I couldn't give a flying one what he posts on twitter by the way. Really don't get people slating him for it either. Gutted for the fans, how dare he?

He's not gutted for the fans, he's an attention-seeking nob. And even if what he is saying is sincere, he's a (highly) paid employee with responsibilities. Going on twitter behaving like one of that lot off AFTV just makes the club look stupid, regardless how upset everyone is about the result.

Meh, everyone on twitter is an attention seeking knob. It's kind of the point of it.

Shouldn’t it be up to Bolasie to prove you wrong? By maybe performing during one of the 3 loan spells he’s had. He is absolutely useless, end of conversation.
 
Why has he piped up now anyway? Absolute last thing we need to be reminded that we still pay this freeloading bum a king’s ransom.

I said it wasn't an endorsement of Bolasie!

I have actually seen Bolasie do some things in the Premier League. OK it was years ago and not with us but I have at least seen it.

Bernard though?
