I'm genuinely not saying anything. I have no idea what offers there's been.

Its pretty simple for me. He has every right to decide to stay and see out his contract if he wants. But if he wants to play this season then he'll have to move.

I know deals are hard and his wages are obviously the stumbling block to a move, but thats the facts.

You literally said: “Hes obviously decided hes sitting out his last season here.”

Well he's been past his prime since the bad injury but anyway.
So you're basically kids should never play for a first team anywhere if there's a relatively expensive player in the squad?

Im basically saying he's carrying on there like he has world class players keeping him out the squad when our wide players consist of a young kid who whilst decent isn't exactly a Wayne Rooney, a Brazilian who doesnt score goals, an injury prone bloke with no end product and Alex kin Iwobi. We have one of the worst wide options in the league yet he still cant get a sniff of action.

That social media post for me is embarassing but its made me laugh I must say lol

Ha now the bar for Gordon is one of England's best ever players.
Talk about high standards for kids!

Which fwiw, is definitely what’s happening.

Why would he risk leaving? Sit on his £80k a week for his final 8-10 months, that’s what? £360k a month so £3.6m to stay and not play and risk and injury, then we he leaves, go back to Palace and take £35k and still take it.

Easy decision if you ask me.

Would have liked to see Bolasie on the bench against Salford City and given the 2nd half, replacing Walcott. I like his energy and positive attacking attitude.

If we loan him out for his last year he’s still paid the same wages.

But if he gets injured, then he may risk never getting a contract ever again.

That’s why I think he’s being smart.

Yea you're definitely looking at it the correct way through his eyes. As much as I gey frustrated with stuff like this as a fan, the club did give him the contract.

After watching that performance from Walcott last night, I ‘d rather see Bolasie given a run against Fleetwood next week than have to watch another inept performance from Walcott ever again! At the very least Bolasie at least gives the impression that he tries!

Not sure it was inept, i think hes just past it and never had that drive in him to grab a game by the scruff of the neck, hes always been a counter attacking player.

But when you look at Gordon and Niels and what they did on the left and desire and leadership shown, its hard not to come away with any other judgement then Walcotts time here is over. He cant hit the bar anymore.

As for Yannick, id say hes still with the kids and we are working for a deal for him.
