Plus, Benteke, Bony and Rom - there's no way we've got enough games next season to keep all of them happy, plus the wages would be ludicrous.

So it's an argument that doesn't really stand up. He did have more game time in terms of minutes played, but as I said, he wasn't aiming for Lukaku up top, but rather Connor Wickham...

Season before that he got 4 goals and 11 assists.

If RK can get the best out of him, he has better attacking players around him - hence his 'end product' is already likely to rise.

as I said mate, we all do it, but really we have no idea how RK wants to set up.

Mata may well still be a target and I think in all likelihood still is, but RK and Walsh may have seen it better off to go for Bolasie as he suits the way they want to play more after what they've seen in pre-season.

We'll see! Hopefully we just get this deal done quickly - think Williams will be announced today - and we can have them both in (even if they aren't available) for the weekend.

One tag I hope Koeman can get us away from is, all this 'lovely, plucky little Everton' hope he turns us into right snides.

Fair play mate, you're almost convincing me that he'd be a good signing

When surrounded by better players, who knows how he will do?

Would certainly scare defences and has the odd wonder goal in him too

As an aside i've just caught the end of the 97/98 season on SS1, jeez puts todays dilemmas into perspective. I was at the match so until now I wasnt aware the Chelsea fans were cheering for Bolton. Gives me another reason to hate the Chavs.

It's Mirallas and McAlney at the moment, and McAlney is probably not long for the club
