Right.

Yannick Bolasie.

Expected to be done sometime today.

Im gonna be totally honest, ive never actually rated the fella, but I am more than willing to give him a chance, hopefully he surprises me and a few others.
Classic Everton transfer reaction unfortunately. I'd hoped that would have changed after the new dawn.

Well, what else can we do? Totally writing him off before he even kicks a ball for us sure doesn't help.

That doesn't mean that I think this is a good transfer; rather, supporting him now seems to be our only option left.

My friend, as a supporter I am happy to pass judgement openly. I'm not going to accept dross like Niasse when got him and give him a chance.
We deserve better as Evertonians.

i remember being so stoked about niasse not because i knew anything about him, but because Everton finally signed an attacking player that wasn't Aroune Kone. Then that joy quickly dissipated and turned to horror.

Bolasie isn't Niasse though... at least he has proven himself to be a decent prem winger, even if the price is terrible.

Also, it is possible to pass judgement openly and still support new signings. I think that Bolasie is wayyy overpriced, but I'm willing to see what he does. Football is unpredictable.

Pretty much everyone is way overpriced in the market today. It is what it is.

Rather buy someone we know that can play than do what Spurs did and spunk a loads of money on unproven PL players when they sold Bale. Sure they got a couple of good players that window, but they wasted a ton of money on the likes of Soldado, Paulinho, and Lamela.

Personally, I think a mix of both is best. We can sign some proven prem players, but then also take a risk on an unproven guy if Walsh and Koeman feel strongly about him.

Agree to disagree on that one.
