Maybe there is a reason that Bolasie costs more than 20m and Koeman wants him and El Ghazi can be bought for less and Koeman doesn't want him.

I think you are right, he probably feels he needs an instant impact. This worries me a bit as in a few years time we may have to over haul the whole team. I don't want to see us buying tried and tested premier league players who will then stimmy the development of our younger players.
I'm sure he knows what he is doing, just hope he isn't bowing to pressure to get immediate results and forget the long term.

Agree to this. Overpriced maybe, but will undoubtedly improve the squad. Think people are being OTT in their judgment of his ability, or lack thereof.
