A player is worth as much as what another club is willing to pay for him, so if we're willing to spend £25m you'd imagine that he's someone that we've identified will play a significant role in the team going forward.

Bolaise has never played in a top team, which is what we are, I look at West Ham and Leicester and I'd pick our squad over theirs every time, Martinez has clouded the judgement of many fans of this club.

Palace had a crap season so Bolaise's worth has been diminished, before last season he was highly thought of and several clubs were interested in him.

Agreed but my point is that most players are bought without there being interest from every other club in the league. It doesn't make a player not worth buying.
