Think you are missing my point eg. 75% success pass rate is a stat but the people who read that stat decide whether that is a good percentage or not hence opinion of reader.
Sir/Ma'am I'm sorry but you're ignoring my point. I completely get what you're trying to get across but say there is a list of players passing %. He is either in such in such percentage (i.e. the top 25% of the list or wherever they be) which is not an opinion based thing. If you're trying to say that a manager would look at the stat and say oh that is good enough for me I think you're mistaken. They would look and say oh his % isn't great but there are other areas about his game I like that make up for it. This argument is all getting too close to a semantics argument so we'll see what happens when he gets here and when he signs I'll be right behind him as soon as he holds up the shirt.

Forget it mate. I would say you are 50% correct which in my opinion is OK

Sounds like this is happening. Hopefully Everton know best but it does seem like a crazy amount of money for a 27 year old with no proven track record.

I so hope I'm wrong with this one but I just can't see the common sense.

I am alluding to buying a player for £30 million with 27 goals in 280 appearances.

We could buy better player than that for half that price in France like 22 year old Sofiane Boufal or in Portugal with 23 year old Rafael Silva,as 2 great examples.

2 options here really.

1. You're correct

2. Scouts obviously don't rate those players and are correct

I'm going to say number 2 is more likely.

I think we need to buy 1 left back, 2 centre backs,1 attacking midfielder, and possibly 2 strikers to go along with Wilfred. He's always impressed me when I've seen him play, plus I signed him on FIFA and he was great on that.

I've just swatted up on some youtube vids. I think this lad is going to infuriate us. All out pace with an end product worse than lennon. The majority of his dribbles seem to be balls just bouncing of his and defenders legs n he ends up on the end of it more through sheer luck than anything else. He will no doubt be dangerous in bursts but I am really not confident he is going to give us what we want.

Will be happy to eat humble pie though.

neither are anything like Bolasie in terms of the type of player though. Silva is pretty much a carbon copy of Del, but not as good.
