I wouldn't read too much in to Bolasie's "assist" stats. Palace as a team have one of the worst goal scoring records in the division and have relied on Dwight Gayle for goals ffs. Is it Bolasie's fault if he does good work only for his crap team mates to make a pigs ear of the chances?

Put him in our side with Lukaku and suddenly watch his stats miraculously improve.

I thought that as well but I would also think e will expect these wingers to work extra hard in his pressing system and I can see them being subbed like for like with 20 to go. It would be a nightmare for defenders (who morally don't get subbed even if tired to be put under not stop pressure for 90 mind when they have ball and run at when they don't esp on counter attack. 4 proper wide men for the 2 wings

If we continue with a 3-4-3/5-2-2-1 I think Bolasie and Ghezzal would get us to an ideal number for the system, certainly not over the top. Kev, Geri, Bolasie, Ghezzal can all play that LF/RF role behind the striker along with Ross, almost as floating #10s that can interchange, but can also all play the backup striker option which means no more Kone. Think interchangeable players in attack will be necessary for the pressing system. Also opens up so many formations, two up top with complimenting players will be a real option for once. I'd have Lennon as the backup RWB

However, as pointed out a few pages back, they do already measure this through a stat called "key passes"

And his key passes stats are poor too, 1.1 a game compared to teammate Jason Puncheon on 1.4 a game and the likes of Aaron Lennon on 1.5 a game.

We could also ban the "experts" on here who question the credentials of players we're linked with. They're clearly more qualified to judge a player than those employed at the club to bring in new players
