Yannick Bolasie

Lets just give him a chance ay lads.

I think we all agree £25 million is alot of money, but the management must have seen something in him, that they can build on, and importantly....

Out: Hibbert, Osman, Pienaar, Stones and Howard
In: Gueye, Stekelenberg, Bolasie, Williams.... and MORE to come.

Koeman is overhauling this team, and we looked good against Spurs, NSNO!

Lashing 25m+ on a 27 year old winger who's done nothing of note in his career

We are struggling to attract "name" signings and we are now sniffing around the lower end teams trying to snatch up there better players on inflated fees

I hear what your saying but I've seen Bolasie cause a lot of teams problems especially us in the past. He is direct, quick and effective and if the manager wants what are we to do say no ?

Prices are inflated these days for everyone English club goes for that the market at the minute due to the sky money.

People have been banging on about new signings and money to spend now we are doing it people are not happy.

i expect more signings soon and incline to trust that Ron knows what he wants and not some folks who think we should be signing Messi and Ronaldo now we a new owner.

So what are people expecting from a £25m attacker?

I won't set a goal and assist target as I'm told there is far more to this player than mere technicalities like being able to kick a ball of air between two sticks or successfully deliver it to team mates.

So my target for Yannick is to become a regular part of a first team that wins lots of matches.

Do that and I'll be happy.

Well yes, if I sold a house in Kensington, London and spent the same amount buying a house in Kensignton, Liverpool it wouldn't be a good deal. Selling the most wanted young defender in Europe (despite his faults) and replacing him with a player at the end of his career and a "inconsistent" winger, neither of whom have any resale value is the problem.

Whether said in jest or not, let's not go down the route of labelling and personal abuse of our manager. Thank you.
We should turn this forum around. I've preached this before but i feel we should have a thread for those with emotional intelligence. Only those who prove their "level-headedness" can post in it, whilst those who can't must watch from afar. I strongly believe that changing the negativity around this forum would transcend throughout our fanbase. Restore wisdom, belief, strength!

Stones wanted to go and he hardly defended like one of the most wanted defenders in Europe did he ?

we sold a player and got back an international defender and captain, a goali, a defensive midfielder and a winger who has caused us problems in the past so has talent.

Will they be any good who knows but with all of them there is premier.league experience so leadership and intensity so lets see how it goes eh ?

Well it's a good job we didn't employ an estate agent. Koeman knows football, so let's judge him at the end of the season.

I remember the negative comments about Stekelenburg after he signed. Perhaps it's better to wait until they actually play before writing off new signings.

What's with the resale nonsense? I'm sure Madrid and Barcelona are mulling over at which point to sell on Ronaldo or Messi to get their money back. Those players will finish their careers there. Not every player you buy you need to eventually sell. Small Club mentality judging a player on their potential resale value.

I like the signing. Think he will create space for the players around him and be the reason we score a lot of goals this season.
