He really needs to improve on his 5 goal average he has had the last 4-5 season.
For a player playing in an attacking role and costing that much,his goal return and assists have to go up quite considerably.

Think we're going to have to accept that he's not a goalscorer, if you look back through his career, his highest league goals tally is 5, and that was last season, even the season he had with Palace in the championship he only scored 3 goals in 43 appearances.
Hopefully he'll create more for those players around him. Actually looking forward to seeing him play though.
To be fair he stated in his interview that his target is 10. I've warned to him since his signing.
His highest goal tally was 6 - last season. He scored them all in the first few months of the campaign (he says this himself on the OS interview) and then got that two month injury. Says he was gutted as he felt by that point he was on track for his target of 10 goals in the season.
And why though @DownSouthBlue - it isn't his fault the price was 'relatively' high (considering the mental market this season it actually isn't...) but as long as he impacts the team in a positive way, be it goals and assists or generally just adding more spark and creativity to what is a talented but often stagnant forward line (when we get bogged down with overplaying) then he'll be a good addition.
