Yannick Bolasie

Once we get a proper forward and not just a finisher he along with Barkley would be more much more effective.

We have one of the best Forwards in Europe. He's not just a finisher, did you not see his free kick? He holds it up well, which, in theory, should bring the best out of the runners from Midfield like Ross, like Bolasie. Romelu is isloated a lot of the time, we have to get get plates closer to him. As posted earlier, Bolasie record over the last 6 seasons screams he's not all that. So, what are you advocating? Get rid of Romelu? Really?

I really hope I'm wrong about him and that he makes me eat lashings of humble pie, but I've got a horrible feeling that Yannick is a show pony with very little show.

As I put in the match report, he has pace, some trickery and the occasional decent cross, but so far, lamentably, very little end product.

With the club having lashed out a huge fee for him, it's in everyone's interest that he comes good and the sooner the better.

He also has something else that none of our other wingers have, apart from perhaps Lennon. He has a natural desire to work his balls off every time he crosses the white line, and this alone makes him more valuable than many of the wingers getting regular games in the Prem. He can actually tackle. Properly.

He works his socks off but he lacks end product and his decision making is entirely random. He's 27, he's not going to improve those things massively with us so he needs to be surrounded by players who can exploit the space he creates. So far, that's not really happening. £30M is looking very dear, even in this market.

He has pace and if there are intelligent players around to either use space he created or create space for him to run into, things will turn up massively. Hope that gets addressed in January. Give koeman the money to sign right players he wants in January.

Im not suggesting anything.

Im stating a fact that the defender was blocking the goal...hence the block.
Just seemed odd, you're basically calling out the point the poster made in an effort to undermine his point that Bolasie would've had another assist if Gueye would've scored.

No, in this case you're seeing something which isn't there.

Yes that one. A single defender and no keeper from 10 yards. He should be scoring

Havent seen it again but it seemed to me that the defender was blocking the goal...he would have had to either go past him or curl one in which, due to the proximity of their player also seemed difficult.
