They will crucify him. Ask any Palace fan and they will say the guy is unbelievably frustrating to watch and at the age of 27 he's not going to suddenly get rid of his bad habits. My mates doing cartwheels at the prospect of selling him for 25-30 million.

Possibly might offer more playing in a side who's best striking option is Connor Wickham? I'd rather we go for an out and out striker as I think Lennon, Kev, and Del can plenty handle the wide areas, but I still think Bolasie will be good for us and as long as our business isn't done yet, he'll be a good signing.

So we need a player who just runs around with hardly any end product, and has the odd good game here and there, a bit worrying if that's what Koeman and Walsh think we need.

I go back to it mate but his stats in 14/15 (in terms of end product) were good. Last year he was poor - playing mainly as a forward like - and injured a bit.

I don't know what to think on it but when he's on top form he looks like a world beater. If he signs I'm willing to see how it goes.

We won't be and we can afford Mata's fee. His 175k wages are a different Mata (pardon the pun)

My point is that we have offered an acceptable amount to Utd for Mata. The wages would be the main issue. I want him more than any Juan, but I'm just saying that'd be the issue

This is what I'm fearing. We are the least forgiving fans of people who don't work hard and who give the ball away cheaply. Two things Mr Bolasie is genuinely world class at.

I don't know mate. I do know that if we have bid for Mata (or are planning to) his massive wages would be the main issue, not our willingness or ability to stump up a fee.

Can see us playing a very dour brand of football with the likes of Bolaise and Gueye. Neither noted for intelligent use of the ball.
