Why cant we afford his wages? He has openly said that he thinks wages have gone crazy and he would play for less. He wasnt going to argue when utd offered him the money but doesnt mean he wouldnt move for first team football.

Again, nowhere have I said that we can't/won't. I've said that they'd be an issue (they would be) - not an insurmountable one. But my initial point was that Bolasie wouldn't cost as much as Mata and that we can afford the Mata fee...

Basically if we can't attract players like Mata then we have serious issues and the club needs sold asap to someone that A) isn't sticking to a rigid uncompetitive wage structure and B) is semi competent in the market.

I know it's not my money mate, but if it turns out £25m for him, I think I've seen enough of him to realize he's not worth that, the Palace lad earlier said he has around 6 games a season where he looks like a world beater, and for the rest can be frustrating to watch, no end product.

Also, someone pointed out he can score goals, but I think something like 27 goals in 132 appearance for Palace contradicts that.

Just think he's a player we don't need, obviously I'll give him a chance if he does sign though.

I agree with a lot of it mate, but I'm just gonna have to see how things work out.

I can of course think of more players that I think we need, but Koeman might be looking to play an entirely different way, and Bolasie may well be perfectly suited to it.
