Would really like us to throw everything at getting Mata in, hoping we get Williams over the line tomorrow.

We have finished 11th for the past two seasons, not 5th. What the hell do you mean 'if the club can't attract Mata'?

I haven't said we can't. All I pointed out was that if we have bid the biggest thing to overcome would be his wages - hence they'd be an issue.

We're very willing to pay big wages as proved by the talk of Rom's deal plus approx 80k for Williams.
 
We've got pure money. £25m rising to £30m = sound... shut up and take my money...

What would people think if Spurs sold Kane and brought in Defoe for 15m as a replacement and spend the rest on Bolasie?

More or less what we appear to be doing today

Supposedly mate.

My point was though in terms of the net spend, which some people on here live by, we'll still have actually spent money (if those deals happen)

I agree i don't rate kev myself tbh, but Bolasie for 30M is what they are saying now aint what we need. i just don't see the high price for an average player.
 
That much for Yannick, Jesus this transfer window is comparable to buying lovren for 20 million u thought we were better than those chaps
