He isn't a record signing Khal.

I really respect you as a poster but ultimately, in today's market a player like Bolasie is now worth £20mil +, rightly or wrongly.

He started off really well for us and has maybe just petered off in the last few games or so - and as you said that was to be expected.

However, he offers something different to any of our wingers that we had before in that he is more versatile and has the power to give Lukaku more of a hand up top (see a perfect example being his assist vs City).

Also, despite how 'anonymous' he's allegedly been, he was involvd in every single one of our attcking moves on Saturday and always creates a couple of golden chances per-game.

Yes, all those attacking moves we had on Saturday would have kept him busy all afternoon, Toff.

Not :pint2:

(Though he was excellent in nicking the ball round the corner for Rom :))

Sorry, pal....it just my own opinion but all things being equal, a fit and in form Bolasie is not a patch on a fit and in form Del or Mirallas.

That is not based solely on his short time with us, he is a very exposed player n the EPL, having had many years with Palace under his belt and never impressing me much.

Except every time he came to Goodison

IMO Bolasie should be our third option in the wide positions.....instead he is first choice and will be for the foreseeable no matter how anonymous he is, given the money he cost (are you sure he us not our record signing.....I thought the potential fee with add ins would total £29 million?)

He should be a squad player, not a definite starter :(

Stekelenberg. Very pleasantly surprised by him, he's been brilliant.
Coleman. For me best right back in the league, possibly joint with Walker of Spurs, but more of a leader than Walker.
Williams. Exceptional centre back.
Gueye. Same as Stekelenberg.
Barry. Just wish he was younger, but brilliant player still.
Lukaku. One of the best in the league already and will easily go on to be one of best in the world.

The rest I can take or leave.

How about you?

;)

Bellerin better than Coleman?

I don't mind Bolasie, just going to frustrate us alot

Yet he's provided more every single game than the two youd put in front of him? Not sure.

Big fan of del. But he's been crap recently, as has Mirallas despite extra effort defending from both.

Bolasie is very different to be honest, from than both

True.

But answer me this.

If Del and Mirallas were fully fit and firing would you start Bolasie ahead of either of them?

No, but in replace of one of them, yes. Bolasie, providing he himself was fully fit and firing too.

It's all if and buts, but realistically as a 3 they all create and score (or not) different types of chances.

Mirallas can be clinical (when he and everton are in the mood), del can be tanacious and unpredictable (when he's on fire and confident) and bolasie can beat his man 4/5 times in scenarios the other two never would (providing strength and an arial threat).

... tldr yes

top comment a la kilbane...watch bolasies flick v chitty...hes made it but thinks its gone nowhere...only when rom sticks it home does he get up&runs half a field to try and get the acknowledgment.....usually hes head dowm&try to whip a ball in but half the time they dont beat 1st man...how much did we pay again?!

Pretty much player for player the same....plus Besic, Funes and the kids

Most definitely because it's hypothethetical. Geri is paper-lunged and has never done more than 25 mins at top rate in the EPL ( well, maybe once), and Mirallas has an ego to match Robbie Savage
