I'm starting to feel more inclined that there's something systemically wrong with our squad with regards to players applying their ability.
Whether it is complacency, a lack of confidence or a by-product of the previous regime, or perhaps all three, I'm not sure - but it's obvious.
Played his best games for palace on the left, in fact it's were he's played most of his career
He's just garbage toff, this is how he was at palace. Nothing, nothing, nothing, create chance, nothing, nothing

I thought his second half was much better than the first.
Couldn't agree more. Some have decided he's garbage though, it's all about opinions.
It can't be complacency, you can't be as bad as we have been and be complacent. I think they have had two years of playing badly with the manager and pundits telling them they are great and just underperforming when the truth is they were performing to their ability, bottom half of the table. We have a new manager who now wants them to earn the wages paid to them and they are struggling.
We need 5/6 new players, 2/3 with real class. That might drag a performance out of some of our current lot, unfortunately quite a few need moving on to championship sides.

Can't be dropped. He's struggling for form, but still put one on a plate for Barkley, had a few shots and was one of the only players who looked arsed, so dropping him for players that generally don't looked arsed like Mirallas and Deulofeu isn't an option for me.
Maybe because a front 4 of Lukaku, Geri, Mirallas, Barkley who cant be bothered pressing or tracking back, in addition to a 35 year old Barry who cant run fast puts way too much pressure on Gana and the defence.
At the moment, Mirallas, Geri and Lennon are just a rotation of inneffective, uncreative nothingness.

Before he was signed nobody was arsed about wingers pressing high up the pitch
The last several games our wing play has looked plop and he stays on, even when like a few games ago he was possibly the worst player on the pitch (better today mind)
Just because he has a Jermaine Jenas engine doesn't mean he can't be subbed to offer something different
I have no problem with him being subbed, its who he's being subbed for.

Think it's all 3 mate. But it's funny how many don't seem capable of the high pressing game that koeman favours. Either they don't have the fitness to implement it (I'd be surprised if this was the case as koeman has had long enough to work on this) or the ability. If it is the latter many of them won't be at the club much longer.
Because at least he's trying to do something. The rest are happy to strut about the field at a snails pace, Bolasie is constantly trying to make things happen.
Can't fault him. Actually think he'll be very good for us when we have players willing to make runs for him.
