Real shame this too for his long term development as he relies on pace, power and an ability to change direction quickly.

Hopefully he gets back in time for next season

Jesus. He was crap yesterday, but this is a big blow...

Oh dear.

£30 million down the drain then. Knee surgery is the last thing a player who relies on pace wants (aside from breaking the whole leg obviously). Not a good sign. Unlikely that he'll come back to the same level, let alone stronger.

He won't be the same player.

I assume that's him out till next season too?

Doesn't get enough credit for being able to get crosses in. Bet if you compared him actually getting crosses into dangerous areas vs. our other wingers he'd be well ahead. Best we currently have at creating that yard of space needed. Sad that he's out for a long stretch now it seems.

All the Bolasie haters can pack it in now.
To say people hate the guy is a bit extreme.
I would imagine that there are a great many like myself who are vastly disappointed with his performances to date and who expected a lot more from the guy. I think that him being saddled with his transfer fee and not playing anywhere near what is expected of someone who cost that amount has contributed to the criticism aimed at him.
I may be wrong, but I don't honestly see him being missed too much, but wish him well in his recovery.
