lol that reminds me of the time we signed yakubu and he scored the winner at Bolton away . I somehow got Moyes mobile number and called him up in the early hours after the game and asked him to make sure the yak didn't wear gloves when he played for us .

He put the phone down on me .

I came in here to read about how rubbish Bolaise is, saw this and I am now covered in molten hot tea that I just made as I laughed that much I lost control of my Thundercats mug ffs. :)

I'm getting a seriously bad feeling about Lukaku after these latest links, we are chasing 'proven bottom half' premiership players, doesn't scream out ambition to rival the top4-6 really, but more to ensure we stay safe

All we can go off is the evidence presented to us mate and so far this window we've not secured a single big name target and we've barely spent a penny. Bolaise is a player you want at your club if you're hoping to come 15th every year.

I'm happy with the stuff that's gone on at Everton behind the scenes so far, but as far as on the pitch and player recruitment go we've not had the start that many hoped for. Hearing we're a totally different proposition and that 'we're back' is all good and well too, but actions speak much much louder than words and we're yet to make a statement other than we want to avoid relegation.

Think people have been led up the garden path with talk of how 'ambitious' we will be this summer. It's a very very typical Everton transfer window so far.

Funnily enough the signs were all there - Koeman, a manager who has done well with a limited budget and selling players. Walsh the DOF who identifies cheapo targets.

Devils advocate mate

Koeman - best managerial achievement, making Saints competitive on a negative spend after having to sell his best players
Walsh - brought in very cheap players on a shoestring budget whose values raised dramatically - ZERO experience in negotiating player transfers

Do either appointment strike you as the logical choice if we where planning on spending 100m+ and targeting top level players to bring in?

FFS the gif don't work.

I'm convinced. We've been hoodwinked.

We need nice intelligent players who can find space, not another dribbler. And especially not one that would rather run around in a circle doing magic tricks than score a goal.

No.

I´m really starting to consider this the same way I would have any transfer window, never mind Moshiri. Same old, same old, average players and disappointment. Bolasie, 5 goals in 80 appearances. Sake.

If I was a foreign fan with an unusual way of expressing his views of the game I would say he is a circus performer, not a footballer.

Every other facet of Football

I'm willing to bet actual money that there's some wingers in an obscure no-mark league somewhere that could do a better job for us than Bolasie.

I'd rather us take a punt on some unkown than sign this 1 in 10, no end product having, thinks he's miles better than he actually is tit.
