I think you have to mix power with creativity, There is space in any football team for Mata he's that good. However Bolaise is also creative if something of a Maverick. It's the sum of all parts for me, I can see what he's trying to do, power and creativity, but also pace imagine Rom, Bolaise Del or Belg Kev coming at you in the first phase. Coleman and Baines in support. Throw Witsel, Barkley and Mata there to that a hell of a blend. Gueye, Williams and Kone covering the counter.

It's not about one player it's the sum of the jigsaw for me.

Think we'll see Koeman deploy a 3 at the back, plus a holding player in front of the back. Possibly a diamond in midfield with mata playing in behind lukaku.

Need another player who will properly unlock the defence and create goalscoring opportunities - Bolasie may not score much but neither does Del, both are great for opening up the opposition with pace and trickery but Del is far too inconsistent and we can't rely on him for everything. Think it'll be an astute signing tbh, and he always turns it on against the Sh**e.
