To start out I think he would be great coming off the bench until he works his way into the starting rotation. Watching him play he is very quick and has great pace. Imagine him coming on against a tired and worn down opposition

I'm not sure any of our current players are as fast as this guy, I love our Kev and Del but not even sure you can compare really. Yes Kev may score more but he doesn't have the pace or as quick feet as this guy, I have been watching video after video.

Just out of curiosity.... Has anyone seen this video? This guys' a beast hahaha! He has the potential to be a very special player for us this season!

4 seasons in EPL compile in just 5-minutes video.

The worst part of the videos is most of the clips are either against us or RS. LMFAO

So, it is a fact that he has only performed in 4 games a season.

I saw a 2014/15 video about 7 minutes in length and he was doing it against far more than just us and the rs. I've seen fans from Arsenal and Chelsea saying they don't like playing against him too.

I think we are also losing sight of the fact that he has been playing in a pretty wanky looking Palace side
Remember the fume when we didn't go for/or land Cabaye last season ? how he was "just the player we need to unlock defences"?

Finished last season with 1 assist. Yeah, 1 assist
Left Newcastle looking like a footballing God , went to PSG on the back of his performances there and came back to the PL and flopped big time in that Palace team so I would suggest that we don't get too hung up on his stats at this stage

....it appears to me that RK does not particularly want width in his team, encouraging forward players to get around Lukaku. It can make us very narrow (as against United) and balls played out of defence end up coming straight back. I imagine he sees Bolasie as a better fit to his system than players we currently have.

You can say that again!
He only played 23 games, Barkley for example played 36 and had 8 assists and 8 goals. Kevin Mirallas in 2014/15 for example had 18 appearances and 1 assist, before that in 2013/2014 28 appearances 7 assists and before that 2012/2013 23 appearance 3 assists. Just using our Kev to show that stats such as assists can go up and down season after season. Palaces overall assists are very low compared to ours so I would definitely say it makes a difference playing with quality around you.

The fee is very troubling, he can be a nuisance but still plays like a raw 21 year old.

You can say that the market is crazy, but Koeman must be confident that he is going to be able to improve his consistency and end product quite considerably.

It's close to a record fee for us and I can't see any justification at all in it from that viewpoint.

There is still an imperative to try for value for money, regardless of just how cash rich we might be.
