Yannick Bolasie

One thing I was told when this cad was at Bristol City was he was troublesome and always wanting to be with mates back in London. This allied to the fact he is one of the most inconsistent tarts I have seen, leads me to not want him for any price.

....it appears to me that RK does not particularly want width in his team, encouraging forward players to get around Lukaku. It can make us very narrow (as against United) and balls played out of defence end up coming straight back. I imagine he sees Bolasie as a better fit to his system than players we currently have.
I believe Koeman doesn't have a bad record against United if I'm not mistaken.

We moan about the lack of pace and strength upfront so we are buying a fast and strong winger for money for free due to Stones sales plus not to mention a massive TV deal AND we still moan!

Forget his stats because that's the past, it's what he does in a Everton shirt which will justify his price tag. If he scores 4 and assists 9, it's still better then everyone of our "wingers" last year.

Move on and get behind our Bolasie!

Well said pal

He only played 23 games, Barkley for example played 36 and had 8 assists and 8 goals. Kevin Mirallas in 2014/15 for example had 18 appearances and 1 assist, before that in 2013/2014 28 appearances 7 assists and before that 2012/2013 23 appearance 3 assists. Just using our Kev to show that stats such as assists can go up and down season after season. Palaces overall assists are very low compared to ours so I would definitely say it makes a difference playing with quality around you.
I think you missed the joke mate.
Sigh...

Tough crowd.

But we apparently don't have quality. We're a 12th place side with a 12th place squad from what most say.

And none of these signings change that

He's not worth 30m

But this is the market at the moment. I'm sure most of the nay Sayers have a more extensive knowledge of footballers than that mr Walsh and me Koeman
I doubt I have a more extensive knowledge of football and footballers than roberto Martinez, but I can still tell you that Alcaraz, McGeady, atsu and niasse were poor players and bad signings.

Just saying 'the manager knows what he's doing' is fine, but fans wil always have their opinions - that's why there's a forum.

I've seen a fair bit of bolasie and I don't believe that he's worth the sort of fee being quoted. I'm also slightly concerned that we're strengthening an area we're already pretty solid in before bringing in players in positions which appear to be a weakness.

If we're able to strengthen other areas too then I'll feel a lot better about the whole thing, and either way any player pulling on the blue shirt will have my 100% support when it comes to it.

Just out of curiosity.... Has anyone seen this video? This guys' a beast hahaha! He has the potential to be a very special player for us this season!

First, it's youtube. I can be made to look a world beater with proper editing. And honestly how amazing can he be if the video showing off his 'mad skillz' has to resort playing each 'skill' 5 times?

I would have to disagree here, too often last season I don't think we were able to beat the opposition down the wing. Yeah I agree that it's a steep price but then I would argue that Stones for 50 mill is too steep. Still don't mind getting the cash though.

I would say we have quality but previously mismanaged quality. But lets say we don't have quality who that is it that has the wanted quality is going to come and play for us in our current setup? Lets say we have a good season and we are being setup that way by Koeman and Walsh wouldn't that then be giving us a better footing on the ladder for sides that are attractive to play for?

Deulofeu was our best player from August to December and Lennon was our best player December to March. On a list of problems last season, our out and out wingers were pretty low down.
