immaculate first touch and can take us the length of the pitch.
missed him badly.

..not so sure about the immaculate first touch. He gives me the impression he’s moving before his brain has engaged. Agree about him having the ability to make the pitch look small which is exactly what we need.

Bolasie has great power and pace, when he got his injury this time last year the team was really struggling for form and results and I thought he was one of the very few at that time who was giving decent performances.

There are flaws in his game(his final ball can be poor and he can sometimes not get involved enough) but if you could eradicate some of those and with the strengths that he has the price for him would be closer to 50m than 25m.

Honestly Eggs my friend, his first touch is fantastic.

You'll see upon his return.

What happens after that, I agree, is a mystery most of the time. Not even Yannick knows i'd imagine.

To be honest I think he’s very engaged with the small picture. His ability to get out of tight spaces with the ball is impressive.

The question as to whether he is tuned into the bigger picture is the one that needs asking.

Regardless, I am excited for his return as I think he’s nothing like anything I’ve seen in an Everton shirt ever (2000 onwards). His pure unpredictability and good crossing makes him such a threat.

Can't wait to have him back. Massively underrated by many. I'd probably even go as far to say that out of all our injuries he's the one we've missed most.

He mightn't be the most stylish player but he's very effective. The amount of chances he created was ridiculous, especially considering how poor the team was playing at the time.

Let's hope he can be eased back without picking up new injuries.

i liked watching him on MOTD for Palace; less so for us, when it grew immediately clear just how occasional the MOTD-worthy flourishes were going to be.

his game depends so much on raw strength and pace, and if such a long injury saps his dynamism even ever so slightly, I suspect he'll struggle to produce.

still, the state we're in, he can only help I suppose.
