Confirmed Signing Yerry Mina

Even if we somehow agree a deal with Barca, we've still gotta somehow convince him and his agent to come here

Not happening, they'll wait for a CL club or stay at Barca and not play much

Barcelona currently have 4 non-european players on their books and can only select 3 for the squad.
Mina is definitely being moved on as the Barca fans hate him due to his two errors against Levante that cost them an undefeated season.

This is why Barca fans are laughing at Everton trying to buy him - though they're wrong, he'd be a fantastic signing for us.

Are we genuinlly relying on some of the stuff said from goal.com?

Is that just the same of getting your info from match or shoot?

Must be 2 weeks or so since King & Joyce mentioned him, reckon this is dead in the water myself

The lad doesn't want to leave, and let's be honest who'd blame him. I know if I was at Barca and a south american, I'd be wanting to stay there for a long time.

Just slap a loan offer in and get him here for a season. If he performs, he enjoys the gaff, and we're successful then stump up the cash to buy him otherwise he'll hold out until last minute for a CL club and we'll be left scrambling around putting in an offer for James Chester or someone as a panic buy!!

..Mina’s agent confirmed some weeks ago that he’d been talking with Everton so I imagine there must have been encouragement and those talks are advanced. Lyon claim they are in the hunt, much will depend whether they have had a bid accepted by Barcelona and whether they can match the wages on offer at Goodison.
Yanno , just thinking about Lyon & in particular their Chairman with his presumptive comments.
If he had spoke to Mina ( and thats pretty vague) would it not be sensible of him to keep schtum. There is nothing to be gained by this , maybe he thinks it might scare Everton off pursuing the player.
In which case he'd be badly wrong.
My feelings are he is petrified we go for a full on puchase & wage packet to match ,as he was fairly intent on a loan.
But its ultimately down to Barca & Mina providing the deal is right.

Haha, she's six, time flies dude :)
She's great thanks, started talking again 2years after her anaphylactic shock. I home school for now for safety reasons, just started ks2's.
How are you doing? Ban or the Dibbles catching up?

Like you say, sort the phreaking defence out ffs!

Good stuff mate, glad to hear she's making progress, if she carries on at that rate we may have to employ her at centre back. Genuinely great news though that things have improved.

What he said looked like a good old chest beating trying to intimidate Everton and make Lyon look more attractive.

Primitive but by the looks of some on this forum effective.

..these blokes are on ego trips, I wonder if his comments were aimed more at Lyon supporters. As you indicate, we’ll soon find out.

If Barca are essentially doubling their money on a player who's been there for less than a year and only played half a dozen league games for them in that time you gotta feel like that's a good deal for them, particularly when you consider that he could feasibly end up third choice if he stays.

So let me get this right, Barca payed about 10m for him in January and despite them thinking he’s turd, has tripped in value.

Ontop of that goal.com thinks Barca have a buyback clause in the deal?

Get lost, we would we buy a 30m player and have Barca just take him back. Can’t see it.

The Mina deal reminds me a bit of my relationship with ebay. As in, if i see something that looks good (Mina in the world cup). I want it, i then go to bid and realise multiple people want the same item (Lyon & Wolves). Next minute I have agreed to pay double the price of what it was originally worth, just because I dont want to lose out on the item (Mina). So, in essence, I hope we don't go all out or this guy, who's very unproven and pay a stupid fee just to beat Lyon, Wolves etc.

Even on one leg he would be better than what we have got.
Mind you, most other defenders in professional football are better than what we have got.

For what it's worth, this lad isn't coming to Everton IMO.
