I’d play him next to Zouma, more balance with a left footer and is the fastest of the 3

....I really don’t see this. It’s about partnerships and blend, surely Zouma has to play because he has what the other two don’t. Mina successfully partners Sanchez for Columbia, who is a similar type to Zouma.

Without being unkind, Keane isn’t the most mobile. If a Forward gets beyond him, he’s out of the game because he has no powers of recovery.

It does seem odd to be leaving him out in favour of a player who probably won't be here next season, and who has been central to a defence that always looks like it will concede a goal. If we have kinda written off this season as one that will help us build, then having temporary players in instead of Mina seems odd to me.

......Eggs, I also remember those halcyon days but at least you sensed Mick loved EFC and showed some passion!

...no doubt about that, but it depressed me when they sent him up top.

Well he tends to always play off to the left he’s still ithe quickest. Also he’s getting an understanding with Digne, playing that side which would be daft to break up.

Still hard to gauge what type of player we have in Mina, until he has a really good run of games we'll never know.

Agree, while i find Zouma a great athlete & a good recovery defender, he tends to ball watch and sit far to deep when the rest of the line are 5 yards furthar up the pitch.
Mina & Keane were the pairing in both Stamford Bridge & away at Anfield (should of been 2 clean sheets)
