I still rate him. He's played tonight with no midfield, a terrible partner, an erratic GK and two fullbacks on their last legs. That's just not really fair on him. And I still thought he defended well mostly.

He does fine for Colombia with Sanchez.

No.my stance on Keane has always been right, him and Zouma worked ok, you say yourself it's about the pairing, him and Mina is awful just like Mina and Zouma would be.
There isnt a decent center half there in any of them, Brands needs to find us two.

I think Mina is a pure stopper and needs a cover defender with pace next to him. Mentality wise hes a winner which is a good trait to have.
Keane doesnt have any redeeming features aside from gelling with Zouma and sitting on the box for Burnley next to old school defenders.
Id keep Mina + Holgate and bring in 2 more centre backs...i think Keane could still bring a £15-20mil bid from someone.
Mina we need to see with a partner alongside him...i like him but tbh not even particularly fussed on him staying or leaving as i think Ancelotti will be bringing in replacements galore.
All about partnerships with defenders for me. Wouldn’t judge anyone with Keane, Coleman and Baines next to him and a makeshift midfield in front.

The real question is why can’t he finish off a set piece anymore? 2 golden chances today and missed on both.
Your partner being rubbish can’t really be used as an excuse for you air kicking a ball and putting it out for a corner, letting a throw in bounce over your head, or heading a ball that’s about an inch off the ground and so taking yourself out of the game. I wouldn’t really want to see a centre half do those things over the course of a season, to do them all over the course of 90 minutes is embarrassing.

I've stated previously, I backed Mina first goal and anytime every game. Its my match bet. He's 28/1 and 12/1 accordingly every week. He hasnt scored all season and every game I'm £20 down, yet every single game he has a chance of scoring. I do not know how he missed either of them sitters last night
