One of the worst performances I've seen from him today. He was all over the place for the Foden goal in the 1st half that wasn't given, and he never really had Heysooz under control at any point.

Still don't think he's anywhere close to an adequate Premier League defender. Always worries me because he's always got a mistake in him.

Another one we should be looking to move on quickly for me.

Depends what you mean by “rate”.

I’d keep 4 or 5 of the current squad. The rest of them won’t make it to the top six with us because they aren’t good enough, in my opinion.

Mina is one of the dispensables. There are players that I rate, like Sidibe, Sigurdsson and Pickford, for example, but I’d be fine if they left too.

Unfortunately we can´t phase out that many all at once but if we ever challenge for the Champions League places I predict quite a lot of this squad won´t be a part of things.

That’s the challenge for Carlo and the board. Exit as many as possible and recycle the squad.

If and when we make even Europa League Football, I don’t think half the current lot will be there, let alone if / when we make the Champions League.

I’d like to think the board are thinking radically about improving the team and aren’t thinking like a lot of the fans - “he’ll do...”.

There is a lot of overrating when it comes to our players on this forum. If Ancelotti can´t get a tune out of them over the coming months then at least that should start to die down.

I thought Holgate was better, thought Delph had a decent game too (well he tried to keep possession unlike everyone else)

I don't hate him or anything, just thought he was poor against City.

Or throwing himself around the floor holding his knee like he's been shot because Jesus seemingly farted near him.

Keeps missing easy, big chances too in the opposition penalty area.

People have been ringing up various radio stations saying he's been playing well. Personally I don't see it. He has little acceleration/speed & although a threat from corners, I don't see him as being a great defender. We paid £4m for Jagielka, £5m for Lescott, Stones for £3.5m, £5.3m for Distin - All better than Mina. For what £30m?
