Been a lot better last few games, definitely more suited to when we sit deep. And should be scoring more so glad he chipped in.

*how did he let that Willock out jump him though.

A very good defender, IF you play in a low-block. Still think it's either him and Holgate or Keane and Holgate. Him and Big Mick have done well together the last few games but that's largely down to having full-backs next to them sitting deeper rather than Digne and Coleman who are always looking to push up.

I like him, always have and would really like him to be kept around a solid squad option in the years to come. Just hope he can cut out the stupid errors which seem to always cost us a goal when they happen.

no stupid errors lately

monster header won us the game. Watch the replay, see how much ground he covered to get to the near post, put the Arsenal guy to shame

even assured in bringing the ball up which had never been a strength

Contract is up in 2023...so we will either extend by summer or sell...

May not be a bad decision to sell him as we have 3 senior centre backs + Branthwaite.

Wonder how much we would get for him...£30-40mil i think.

Mina and Keane are just what the doctor ordered. Top teams need big blokes at the back. Lampard said
so in a recent interview and that is why City with Kompany and LFC with Van Dyke were strong teams.

When Holgate plays centre-back, I have kittens every time the high ball gets slung in. Maybe Godfrey can do well there but at the moment lets enjoy the Mina show.
