motm, some brilliant blocks
Happy holidays @maccavennie

Totally agree. He had an excellent game yesterday. He kept Cavani in check during the match. It was actually when Cavani was moved to the other band that he was able to escape Godfrey's mark and got to score then we went down hill those last few minutes :(

I also think it is BS that Cavani didn't get a card from grabbing Mina by the neck and pushing him to the ground. I really don't like him. Colombia has to play Uruguay because of different tournament we play in South America and he always plays rough.

Happy holidays to you too Sassy!

Yes i thought he was excellent yesterday, put his body on the line, won his duels, was very dominant.

Utd got away with a fair bit yesterday, a couple of awful dives and certainly Cavani should have seen red. He's a seasoned pro and an unreal finisher and that was the difference yesterday. Utd have a 250k a week striker they can rotate whilst we have the balding Eagle Tosun to rely on.

Its another trophy opportunity lost again for sure but we are still in the hunt for Europe and have the FA Cup to look forward to.

I hope you have a lovely morning tomorrow with the family Sassy and you get some great presents. I found one of mine last night, Result!

They definitely got away with a lot. That ref was disappointing. As much as I dislike him Cavani is an excellent forward and a killer finisher that's why he is called el matador by some people. Utd has so many quality players on the bench unlike us. Yesterday it was sort of depressing how in the second half Utd kept changing players and pressing with fresh legs while we really didn't have that luxury :(

Thanks Mac, the same to you. Enjoy your family, the food and the gifts. Btw, how come you found out about of your presents already, and what's was it? Lol

Feliz Navidad.

Feliz Navidad.

I was wrapping the kids presents up and looking for a couple that were missing. I accidentally on purpose landed on a gift that was not for the children but for me. It's a vinyl Sassy and will be getting blasted on my record player at approx 7.30am Christmas morning :)

Edit : I also now realise Feliz Navidad is not a Colombian striker who you were recommending me to scout but means Merry Christmas ;)

I guess your missus needs to do a better job next year ;) but she can be forgiven for giving her man so a cool gift. Enjoy your record player.

Hahahaha, I sure wish it was a striker sorry to disappoint you.

He's improving. Fewer mistakes. More assertive.

Attacking too. That header was really good. Massive movement, made the defenders look like garden gnomes.
He attacks a set piece just as well as Dom does, he’s a real threat.
I think he’ll be a good squad defender for us, very capable against Burnley type teams who are gonna pump balls in but less so against Man City who use short quick attackers.
If Godfrey and Holgate come on as we hope for them too and we’ve got this fella as an option for rotation/certain games we’re in a good spot.
He also seems to be a right joker and a good bloke (love his charity bits with the kids and the Down syndrome team) and generally very well liked around the club.

He is a snide but for me the King of the Snides is Bruno Fernandes. The way he pushed Richarlson
into a collision with another defender was pure Simeone.

Mina always does his best to get the opposing centre-forward booked or sent off but it is just too theatrical
for English refs to fall for but he will get the performance rewarded one day and then the Snide Award might
go his way. Anyway you look at it he is playing well though.

I’d agree with that.

He doesn’t get in my dream team that I envisage/hope Carlo will have in a couple of years but he’s not on my list of players that need to be got rid of either!!
