This is the thing. We'll rightly celebrate (out of desperate relief) if we're lucky enough to stay up, but we deserve to be where we are at the moment, have been an absolute disgrace and Mina's injury problems have contributed hugely to this.
Mina has been all too happy to represent Colombia when not fully fit (he's never fully fit, so he should know better than to play 3 games in a week for them after missing most games for us, for example), yet absent for us far too often and taking huge wages out of the club.
As much as I think he's a top class defender, he'll never be reliable and should be moved on in the summer, providing the plan is to bring in at least one top quality centre half in his place and providing we're losing one of Keane and Holgate. We just cannot go into a new season with the risk of having to partner those two again.
I wouldn't be upset if we sold 99% of this squad as they've let us down so badly and just aren't good enough.
