Love him, really infectious, he's a quality player who usually lifts the level of his defensive partners. One mistake yesterday of course but I put that more down to Coleman.

That said, for the money he's on we simply can't keep him here with his injury record.

Thank him for his time at the club and look to sell in summer.

It's honestly mad that he was on the pitch for about 10 minutes and cost us a goal, went off and was replaced by someone who improved us significantly, and then loads of people come on and go 'he's class gutted he's injured again it's a massive blow'. Never known a player have such a rep for absolutely no reason.

Silva was a big mistake he had shown little before he came here and imo he always looked out of his depth. I could never warm to him and was glad when he went. Yes he’s done well with Fulham but next season in the PL will be the next proper test for him.

I agree he was untested, but like Martinez, but not Koeman, Allardyce or Ancelotti - successful signings and better coaches would have made a difference - i.e. a better football management set up behind the scenes. Which we have not had for years.

He is unreliable and needs to be sold. We can't afford to lose him on a free.
Honestly, I don’t see how any team looks at his injury history and even wants to take on his 5 million wages let alone pay us a fee on top. He’s gone off in the first half three times this season and that’s a huge red flag that even when thought to be fit and ready he can go at any time. What club is taking on that risk?

Suspect he’s with us one more season before the contract runs out.
