….he’s such a big unit and his movement is a bit awkward, that type are often injury prone. Be interesting to know what exactly is the matter.

Big Dunc, Andy Carrol also good examples of that build and injury plagued, then you look at Crouchy who never seemed to be injured.

But he is injury prone. Has been for a long time. Given that we can get a decent fee for him, I would sell him rather than losing him for free.

That's the position we are in.

He's a very decent defender when fit, but if he doesn't want to extend the contract then we have to sell next summer. We have financial issues so absolutely cannot let a valuable player leave for free. That would be total madness.
