2021/22 Yerry Mina

It annoys me when they throw pics of him training up knowing full well he is going to come down with a knock and be out for weeks immediately.

He's as bad a sick note as Delph and Gibson before him and has been since his first season here when he only managed 13 league games.

I'm not a betting man @Efcjake, but my 2p (maximum wager) is on Mina getting fit enough for the next International break, whenever that is. That being so, do you recon we'll a couple of games out of him before he trots off, only to be injured again upon his return?
If I remember correctly, he was a reasonably good player. Wasn't he?

He will come back, play 20 minutes til his leg falls off and then get fit again for Colombia. Come back with an injury and repeat.

He's alright. The statistics going around flatter him a lot imo. He's as dodgy as the rest of our central defenders in my eyes and worse because he can't keep fit.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if he was actually 'ready' given he only started doing partial training with the rest of the squad today..

He's missed 47 games through injury since he's been here (his latest injury being the worst by a distance)

We've played 156 games as a club in that period

He's played 83 times for us

He's been available for 70% of the games we've played while he's been here, playing in 53% of them
Cheers mate.

That's actually not that bad.

But of course. Colombia face Peru on January 28 and Argentina on February 1.

Like clockwork is Yerry. He'll be unavailable again from the second week of February.

We have Norwich (15th) + Villa (22nd) then he should be back for Brentford (5th).

If we can pick up 6pts in the two league games before he leaves we'll have:

Played 20 and 25pts.

Looking at the table now, that would put us in 10th place and much more relaxed than we are now

Pivotal to us picking up momentum. It really is a shame his body hasn't stood up, as is he a quality player, quality person and has an edge to him.

One of our most important players.

Having him and DCL back and firing will be a huge boost.
