….you don’t have to made captain to be a leader, it changes your mindset on the pitch. He was poor.

Someone made a point yesterday, the player marking Mina at corners etc was 5'10" and did a job on him.
The same player was also their goalscorer from a corner - unmarked

Even rusty he was still miles better yesterday than anything the other 3 have given us this season. Him and Branthwaite would be my picks for some balance. Would still sell him though as sadly he's extremely unreliable in a position we are weak in.

I really thought he was terrible, ale house balls were causing him all sorts of problems and he just looked generally panicky.

Has got better in people’s minds because he’s not in the team. Playing next to Godfrey or Holgate with our pathetic midfield cover and formations/tactics that invited wave after wave of pressure he’d have been exposed, any centre back would.

Good player but not as good as lots claim. Think Keane and him are probably our best centre back pairing but could happily see both sold in the summer.
