He runs wrong. That was my takeaway from the slow motion of his injury. His gait is so messy and it causes him to get hurt. You see it with NBA centers sometimes. He's not that big but still a pretty big guy and that can happen. He's probably to old to rework it so I'm not sure there's a solution.

I made the NBA reference yesterday.

Daft as it sounds an NBA conditioning coach may help him. (though I'd rather he's just volleyed thousands of miles away now)

I doubt the club would fork oot on a specialist coach for just one player tbh.

More than likely they'll let his contract expire next summer.

Actually a really good shout. Probably one of those identifiable but seemingly random factors for why some players are just more injury prone. It happens with athletes who experience fast growth spurts. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a factor with Yerry. He certainly doesn't move smoothly despite being a supreme athlete.

I wasn't advocating the club forks out for it.

Lots of players pay for their own fitness/physios (usually in close season)

The fella has been an unmitigated disaster of a signing. If anybody comes up with "Great player when he's fit" I'll have to crack open another bottle.

Based purely off the need to see a specialist, I’m going for him to be out for a minimum of one to three months.
The full extent of the injury is he's suffering from congenital gaslighting.

A pretend professional footballer, he reminds me of an "athlete" who pulls up lame on the starting blocks for fear of being asked to submit a post-race doping sample.

Back in the Plasticine Box for me folks, See Ya Soon ............
