Have said for longer than anyone else here.

LAMPARD has been our problem.

He's gone - we win. Simples.

And yet the idiots who kept defending him - how do you feel now?

Yes there are a lot of problems with the club at present, but the manager was the by far the biggest.

With im gone we have a fighting chance now. It's just a shame we didn't give it to ourselves 6 games ago.

I am still absolutely furious with this club and its supporters for not being able to see this sooner. Tactically, Lampard is an utter idiot - he was far the worst manager in the top flight. I hope everyone who kept backing him, kept saying "who will we get in" will look at themselves in the mirror and understand that this reprehensible lack of standard keeping would certainly have seen not just relegated, but utterly humiliated. Look at yourselves in the mirror tonight and ask yourselves if you understand what our club motto means.

You Utter fools. You Utter idiots. If we stay up it will be IN SPITE of you, not BECAUSE of you.

DO BETTER.
He was a decent man who did his best, and he kept us up last year as well. Just lose the vindictive anger mate and enjoy the win.;)

What a clever boy you are. Sure you are on the side of Stanley Park you should be or did the cabbie from the airport drop you at the wrong ground?

Where's @Bohemian Toffee? Guessing he's absolutely leathered in a seedy Czech bar in celebration of his man's early success.

I am stone cold sober - yesterday I was in Karlovy Vary watching my hockey team clown car their way to a derby defeat. Mrs. BT indulges me, but not to the extent of two nights out in a row, so she is listening to me wax lyrical for the 427th time on the glory of Dyche.

Thing is, Dyche will have done his homework on us and I am delighted it came off for him today. Delighted.

I read too much of Daniel Storey to have ever had high regard for Lampard, I kept my own counsel on him because his trick of not being Benitez seemed to give him so much room. But that team was not being coached, you could see it in Mykolenko especially. Night and day him, amongst others today.

Give the players a plan, trust them to execute it. Long way to go, but we've given ourselves the only realistic chance of survival.

I am absolutely made up.

Yeah, there were some rumours about Lampard not being great on instructions and telling players to 'express themselves'. It all sounds a bit Uncle Hawwy Wedknap.

Either way, Dyche did good today. I'm going to be interested to see if he can keep our notoriously up and down squad on board and battling.

The reason I have faith that he's not going to be taken in by them, Gray dicking about on the bench while Dyche was giving instructions to keep the width.

The coaching staff will watch back the game today, and again before training Monday. They'll see that and Gray will be launched into orbit. He's not here to make friends and he's the exact tonic we needed.

Onana today set that standard, McNeil ran the whole game and Calvert-Lewin knew he had 60 and went all in. That's what's going to get us out of this mess, hard work, application and being brave when you're on the ball. You want to clown about on the bench? Excellent, you'll stay there.

While I agree Lampard probably wasn't a very good coach it's probably best not to get ahead of ourselves. Dyche has a big task to keep us up and it will be difficult. Today shows good signs though that he's the man to do it and maybe a back to basics approach is all that is needed.

I have said for a while that I don't think this squad is as bad as the table shows and I think today shows that but Dyche needs to get us doing that consistently. Let's not forget Lampard hammered Leeds in his first game and we all thought we were onto a good one. Although today we actually went toe to toe with Arsenal a team top of the league and looked every bit as good.
Lampard has been getting by on his name alone , he's achieved nothing in management, hope he does well in his next job, just can't see it .
