I don't even think it's a case of that. Their two centre halves comprise of the club's captain and a player that had the most outfield minutes for Reading last season.
It was a dumb club to send him to for game time; said it at the time and been proven right since.

Totally, the club, his advisors and Reading have let him down. What a frustrating waste for him to be sat warming the bench in such an important season for his development.
I’m not feeling that charitable towards Reading going forward or their manager, it’s great back up for them and they’ll be rubbing their hands but during negotiations they can’t have been entirely candid about their plans otherwise only a lunatic would have signed off the loan. Disappointing, only an injury will get him in the team now.

our luck to send him to a team who are top of the league but it's a long season in the Championship so hopefully he can show his worth.
I’d put money on him getting zero mins in the league for them.
