Had a former work colleague who was a big United fan when she found out I supported Everton, her immediate response was “Ewww, why?” ?

I'm not sure if there is one. Maybe something as simple as that they wear blue. I actually hate supporting them and the older I get the more I dislike them. They make me feel angry and disappointed a lot and I'm not sure why I bother. There is very little satisfaction I get from supporting them and they are further away than ever from achieving something.
I even expect the stadium which is the one shining light atm to be a disappointment too.
