I liked Watson, thought he was a cracking player to have in the squad. Shame he left when he did (I think Everton offered him a deal and he wanted longer so left)

However, all my actual favourites are from the 1977 to 1980 sides when I had my first season tickets and started going to away games with my mates. The away fans had a real bond with those players: Lyons, Latchford, Dobbo, Kingy, Georgie Wood, Dave Thomas, Duncan McKenzie etc.

Great selection. My 1st thought was around the 77, and 78 seasons as I thought the footy was great mostly. Think my only changes from your selection would be Mike Pejic instead of John Bailey
