Heard they were due to announce the Witsel/Mata double signing this afternoon but they might have to put it back a bit. Apparently Witsel has a massive spot on the end of his nose and he doesn't feel comfortable having the photoshoot until it's settled down.

Dont see his problem about a spot on his nose unless it has a yellow head on it.

From a very impressive source buried deep in the foundations of Finch Farm:

Witsel? Next Thursday/Friday unless we are gazumped, which is an ever-present danger with his Dad as agent.

Mata? Possible something might start in a couple of weeks but all this imminent/done stuff is rubbish.

Schmeichel, Pelle. Just polite initial enquiries. Nothing to get excited about yet. Begovic? No.

Interest in two CBs, one playing in Spain, one in Germany. Expect something to start to move next week. Lots of competition for both so will require us to wave the ££££s.

Pace! At least one fast wide player wanted, ideally left-sided. Grosicki is a potential target but Euros raised his profile and price higher than we like so we are waiting to see if that settles down a bit.

Striker, half a dozen preliminary enquiries but nothing advanced. We ideally want 2, even if Rom stays. One big, hold-up type. One fast over the ground.

Stones, still wants out but Everton want "quite a bit" more than £50m as have to give Barnsley 15%. We have interest in 3 City players (two have been well rumoured, one is from the U-21s) but there won't be a player exchange deal as they are just too complicated.

Lukaku will stay unless Juve get £100m for Pogba and decide to blow three quarters of it on the free-scoring lump. Very unlikely.

Astonishingly McGeady, Kone and McCarthy are available at the right price but Oviedo and Niasse are wanted, at least for now.

Koeman still assessing the kids. Early whispers are most not yet judged first-team ready and that means we will potentially buy a couple more than initially planned 8-9 not 6).

There you go. No need to spend the next week on the internet frantically hitting refresh. Just call me Daddy

Begovic, Witsel, Mata and Haller rumoured to be the most likely.

One of Lukaku or Stones to leave, more likely stones to city £40m plus Bony (bony depending on Lukaku).
In the case of Stones leaving Koeman looks likely to approach Southampton for VVD or United for Daley Blind.

Rumours were that Spurs wanted McCarthy until Wanyama turned up for cheaper money. Not sure if McCarthy will leave given Barry could have his final season this year.

unfortunately you destroyed all credibility at this point

So no one knows anything, what a surprise.

Where's all the people on here constantly creaming themselves over every predictable itk bit of info?

Perhaps a suggestion for the forum ...

Since there is an absolute avalanche of anti-ITK hysteria, how about a sub-forum requiring a further registration for those that appreciate the efforts of those with potential ears to the ground.

Then the ITK doubters will have no reason to reside in such a corner of the interweb and can be happy in their thoughts that they are missing nothing but drivel.

What they never know, they'll never miss ...
