I so want to believe the ITKs. But I fear tonight is going to be a right old götterdämmerung for Dave, WRD etc. Joining their fellows like The Esk in Sky Sports News Valhalla, talking with Jim in perpetuity.
It's not them I blame. It's me.

Koeman knows that Barkley loves Everton and says "sign by end of the season or you'll be sold" thinking that he'll just sign it. Tough love and all that.

Barkley has allegedly signed already. Koeman/Walsh using him as a smokescreen so other clubs will target him instead of competing with us for our targets.
