Yes mine was more of slang term

Testicles=eggs

Eggs=huevos

Huevos slang for testicles=webas

Inchado/inchada= swollen

So I said he has swallen testicles in slang
Thanks, @UptheTofees I knew you would be the best person to give us some clarity in such important subject, and you slang sounds exactly what my brothers would probably say if their poor testicles were as battered as James are.

Pasta e fagioli spiked with dandelion greens.

A suitably robust dish in response to the season's first snow and the shoveling it required.
Sounds delicious! Snow, really? Where are you located? My daughter has been waiting for snow for the past three years at our location and nothing except for flurries have come our way.

@RAFUH is probably the best person to ask as the origins of the divisions of pizza toppings, it has always been this way since I’ve been around but I’m far from knowing the origins of the debate.

Thanks for the translation, the vulgar version sounds far more visceral but as you say it would be good to hear from @UptheTofees

I don‘t know other than folks don’t seem to like sweet and savory together.

Although since it tends to be the Americans in favor of PoP, I’m sure there’s something of making fun of the uncultured colonials to it.

I'm in the fair Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I've lived in this state for 25 years now and this was the first time I'd seen snow before Halloween. Winter's becoming a bit presumptuous, I think. Good luck to your daughter. I'm sure she'll get a reason to shovel eventually.

Cod and chips delivered from the local chip shop. They only do deliveries these days. And their food is pretty good.
A great irish delicacy. Handy for a Saturday night......
It's always something like that on saturdays. And then the usual roast dinner on sunday. We tend to be creatures of habit..........except on holidays..

Ah, that explains the snow. I had a friend that lived in Boston and said he had never seen as much snowing in his life until he moved there. We actually have had snow here in Asheville NC in Halloween but it was an anomaly and it happened over a decade ago, the mountaisn of NC haven't gotten as much winter precipitation as when I first moved here in the early 2000s. Thanks, hopefully this will be the year for my daughter to.use the snow sled we got her three years ago for Christmas that she still hasn't been able to use.

Knowing the feeling. We lived for over 12 years in Eastern Africa so the kids never reallyreally got used with snow. I mean we did come home to Finland for xmases so they had probs like 4 experiences with the sleighs etc.

They were super excited for getting the snow & ice skating etc when last Christmas we moved back permanently. Efff. The whole of winter was just puddles and mud here in the southern part of the country. Had to drive 1000 kms up to Lapland for them to get the promised snow.

As for the topic: A glorious victory & lamb saagwala on the menu.
