Or alternatively I buy it from the butchers, thinly sliced. Sometimes I breadcrumb it, helps it keep tender.

Hahaha.

I also buy ours from a local farm that has their own butcher shop. I was just asking because some americans don't buy it fresh but instead they eat liver mush :dodgy:

Not sure which recipe she used as there are dozens of recipes on Google and I just posted the first one I found.

*The real secret to success with this dish is to make sure that your bananas are thoroughly filleted.
(nothing worse than finding a banana bone on your plate)

edit. Local place, they even tell you who supplies them. Get their eggs from my village.
