Youssef Chermiti 'essential' medical news emerges as striker not on Everton flight Friday​

Youssef Chermiti hasn’t joined his Sporting teammates for their trip to face Everton on Saturday (5 August) amid his expected transfer, according to Record.
Everton’s second offer to Sporting Club de Portugal striker Chermiti was ‘more enticing’, and they hope to finalise the deal for him early next week.

It would be quite bizarre if he wasnt there...at the very least to have a chat in person, see the ground etc.

This is what I don’t get. We are definitely going to agree a fee etc (arguably already have according to some reports). so don’t understand why he wouldn’t be over to negotiate personal terms.

His current club are playing his likely new club. It’s nonsensical for him to not have come over, even if he didn’t necessarily come with the squad.
