Chill, didn't toffeenut say that the other week and didn't Alan Myers say that too.I assumed he meant hes chill about it happening.
Would you prefer we wait 3 years and pay 70m for him.I think we are being taken to the cleaners here if it is £15 mill plus add ons. he hasn't even played for portugal u21s! we should top out at £15 million with the add ons. Hope the lad does well if he signs!
It's alleged Unsworth's missus made that decision.I still think the best one is Unsworth who signed for Villa, then 2 weeks later told them it was a mistake and wanted to come to Everton
Always ends in tearsSign young talented players at affordable prices and develop them over a few tears
£12m rising to £15m, people need to different between a Pound sign and a Euro signI think we are being taken to the cleaners here if it is £15 mill plus add ons. he hasn't even played for portugal u21s! we should top out at £15 million with the add ons. Hope the lad does well if he signs!
I can see more than a few tears if another striker like Iheanacho isn't brought in too. This guy looks way too inexperienced to be expected to be the main striker for any PL team next seasonWould you prefer we wait 3 years and pay 70m for him.
This model has worked well for us and deviating from it has cost us dearly.
Sign young talented players at affordable prices and develop them over a few tears
All of these signings don't work but we do have a good record and gave made lots of profit.
I can see us signing an Iheanacho or a Vardy or an Antonio as well for more immediate results
Do you think she now regrets that? Just saying! It's alleged Unsworth's missus made that decision.
It wouldn't be Everton if we didn't sell Simms for a reported 3.5 mill to then go and sign the Portugese Simms for 15 mill.I think we are being taken to the cleaners here if it is £15 mill plus add ons. he hasn't even played for portugal u21s! we should top out at £15 million with the add ons. Hope the lad does well if he signs!

He is only a kid though, so lots of time to develop into a decent player. It will be down to the scouting as to whether he has the potential to be a good player in the future. Worrying would be that Amorin and SL are happy to let him go for 12m+ as they normally maximise value on young players if they thought he had the potential to raise his game I would expect they would have held on to him. But only time will tell and If he can be eased into the game and allowed to develop he could prove to a great buy as long as expectations on him for this coming season are not too unrealistic.Reports are from Portugal are v mixed so I worry we are massively overpaying like we did with Patterson and Mykolenko ( and Onana to a certain extent).
