Yes for his future but I don't think any scouting could possibly identify a kid with his experience as being ready as the main striker for a PL team. He looks like an interesting player to bring in and it is great to see Everton going for a young player with potential rather than a Maupay but a lead striker is essential for Everton for next season imo

If we value Gnonto at 25m and they insist on 30 then yes we should move on. Particularly as people will then complain we've overpaid.
If we think he's not worth that, then he's not worth that. We shouldn't be held to ransom like we have previously.
Then if his agent asks for 5 years at 120k we should reject. We've been rinsed for years and it hasn't worked. Just need to stand firm and not overpay.
I always use that Paul somebody we were after and saints outbid us and paid 25m for him. He's useless. Utter rubbish yet there were people in here wanting to sign him out of desperation.

Can’t see them all staying tbh, 60-80 mill loss in revenue. A couple will go.

Closer to deadline day that asking price will have to come down as Leeds have to sell players. Problem is that we can't really afford to wait as we have urgent needs for attacking options early on.
Veretout has had a very successful career in Italy and Ayew, although he never set the world alight he has had a career as a PL striker
They need to sell players to get them off the wage bill but apparently Gnonto is on very low wages and they do not need to sell him
