Don’t think he can be anymore than an impact sub this season. Probably a similar level to Cannon but the difference being he is the right profile for a Dyche striker unlike Cannon

Also hes not the reason we didnt sign Coady, the manager took him out the side and had no interest in retaining him.

Same with Cannon, the manager had no intention of ever playing him.

I agree, Pele in his pomp would have struggled in our first half performance V Doncaster - you cannot judge a player who was upfront in that team selection in the first half they were awful all over the park ...

Would love to know what a "Dyche striker" is, presumably one that is effective and perhaps scores a few goals when the opportunities arise. Hopefully all our strikers do this.

I would like us to go 4-4-2 as we play it long any way - our midfielders a similar the two Ganas & Decouree & Onana those two areas play the same role & lack pace - two fast wide wingers & overlapping fullbacks then could cross & find DCL & Beto in the box = goals
Chermiti could always be used as a sub or even play....if DCL is injured .....

I was a bit unfair to him in all honesty, more out of frustration that we sold Cannon than anything else as I think Cannon is going to make it and we could have used the money spent for Chermiti elsewhere

However, he's barely played for us and if he's good enough he'll show it as time wears on, so we should support him and the cards will land as they may

I see your point, he scored only 3 goals last season & had some assist he was down to 4th choice striker - Thellwell & Dyche must see something in him for that amount of cash - only time will tell ....

I question whether Sporting are a much better team than us.

They used to be a very good team, but from what I can see they are a bit plop these days.
