I quite liked the brief glimpses we'd had of him up until yesterday. While I did think he'd come on after 80 mins, I thought it'd be to chase down nothing balls, draw a few fouls, maybe take the ball to the corner a couple of times. But as "outlets" go, that was one of the worst examples I've seen in a while, and at a time when we couldn't hang on to the ball for more than a few seconds.

Perhaps Dyche should have had a word with him.

He’s still very much a work in progress, the positive thing is he got ten minutes which is enough for an individual coach to sit down with him , go through the video and explain what he needs to do better in a Dyche team. It’s rare that a teenager comes into the PL from abroad and hits the ground running - new country , new league to adapt to etc. Hopefully he can avoid the snatching at every chance, going for a worldy to prove himself when there are others in a better position .

Doucoure dropped back to midfield when he came on, so he was very isolated and seemed a bit lost. I don't think he looked lazy or dissinterested, like some on here. Probably needs to bulk up a bit to play a lone striker role. Fingers crossed he comes good.

If we can get out of bother with a few games to go hopefully he can get a run. It's a shame for him that we've been plunged back into trouble by the Premier League, because we simply can't carry any passengers at the moment.

He'd do a job in any position on the park too if asked. It's not even goals i remember him for, it's those 80 metre dashes back to his own half to stick a world class fullback slide tackle on a winger who'd just brushed the proper fullback aside.

He was rapid for a stocky lad.

Also I'm a huge fan this has turned to a Rooney thread after the discontent the player who gave 0 f's yesterday.

Not having it mate sorry...Classic Evertonian overreaction as per usual.

We won and won with him on pitch.

Not happy unless someone is getting dug out.
He was strolling around the pitch head down didn’t run for a ball down the channel and was bullied, being bullied I can live with but strolling around has nothing to do with ability or different country lack of games its plain and simple his attitude and it didn’t reflect well on his cameo. I thought he could of got more minutes than he did but glad he never.

Didn't think he was 'lazy' or didn't work hard, at all - I just think it was a bit poor how he couldn't get his foot on the ball even a single time after he came on..

Came on with 10 minutes to go, completely isolated up to top with no one near him coz we're sitting back hold on for the 3 points.

He's a teenager who'll learn whats required

Ultimately we won the game so all this is people just picking peanuts out of poo coz it's what blues are great at.

This thread is soon to be the cool hang out for all the Park end Da's.
