I’m surprised we haven’t seen more of him whilst Doucoure has been injured because he played as a bit of a support striker a couple of times as a sub I thought
Loan would be good for the lad I think yeah, get some competitive minutes
Loan would definitely be the best thing for his development, he was getting good game time at Sporting and you don't want this season to be a step backwards. It's tricky though because we'd look pretty stupid if injuries hit at the wrong time, you do need a third choice at times. Tough call to make between what's best for the player and what's best for the team.

I'd be tempted to loan him out and treat Danjuma as emergency 3rd choice as he's played through the middle in the past.

What's going on with this guy?

Never plays and doesn't appear to be going out on loan this month.

Hell, this thread had even dropped back to page 6.

The Invisible Man.
He was a kid bought for the future.

But due to our lack of depth, can’t afford to let him go on loan.

That sounds like he's stuck in no mans land.

Not considered good enough to play, but must be kept around just in case.

The lad will want out at this rate.
It’s ridiculous £15m you either develop him here with minutes or send him out makes no sense and I don’t care what the structure of the deal was either, prime example of us having no clue whatsoever regarding young players.

…he’s doubled his salary and has shown absolutely zilch. I doubt anybody would match his salary, especially with so long left on his contract.

We‘re paying £15m for him and we let Cannon leave. At this point in time, it looks very bad business.

Not sure of the “don’t know how to develop players” but 15 mill when FFP is on our back seems ostentatious for a bit part player

Who have we developed? Simms brought back from a loan he was doing well at to sit on the bench. Did nothing with cannon, Tom Davies should of had loans, Patterson had game time only because the recruitments been awful Kenny? Dowell? Dobbin? Lists endless. Branthwaites only decent success story or is it a case of all the others have been crap? Think it’s a bit of both

Admittedly Chermiti hasn't shown much yet, but may be a bit early to write him off. I remember thinking we had been sold a pup with Graeme Sharp, looked like Bambi on Ice for a long time, but it all clicked into place. Very hard to tell with young players. I never had the feeling that Cannon would make it with us - doesn't mean he won't do well with Leicester but the expectations here are hard to live up to.

The lads 19. Plenty of time for him to find his feet.

Interesting (or not) weve been linked with Hannibal Mejbri who's Tunisian (Chermiti can elect to play for them) and now today Ussumane Djalo a Portuguese u19 player.
