A badly handled mess with no one; Palace, Wilf, Wilf's agent's or Arsenal coming out well in this. It also seems to have been forgotten (from only the beginning of the window) that Wilf wanted to go to play in the Champions League. Certainly more of a chance at Everton eventually. Just not yet. Everton have done nothing wrong in this whole sorry farrago.

I don't think Mccarthy being involved in the discussions was wrong at all when we knew that palace wanted him.

We've been here a good few times before with good players not wanting to stay. It's not fun at all. But time is still on Palace's side, not ours. Be interesting to see what happens come this time tomorrow.

Really? Great news if true. Not even bothered about the massive fee. Getting Bolasie and Tosun out the door is the equivalent of Palace paying us, for me.

Its astonishing how fans in this country can not see how clubs like Everton, Leicester and Wolves are a step up from your Watfords, Crystal Palaces, Brightons.

This season there will be a massive gap between the top 8/9 and the rest imo

Yes but McCarthy is part of a separate deal now. One of the few players that you want out and we don't mind is not available as a makeweight?
