I’m more interested in Zaha’s character, he was happy to sign a five year contract with Palace less than a year ago now he wants out, by the way if he comes here do you think the battering will stop.

Apparently he is close friends with the chairman. Some sort of deal could have been mustered between them whereas Zaha wants to go but give another season to Palace and sign the contract to ensure Palace get a good wedge. Gentlemans agreement kind of thing.
